Change is in the air after the second season finale of FOX’s beloved medical drama Doc. Spoilers ahead!
Charlotte Fountain-Jardim, who plays Amy (Molly Parker) and Michael’s (Omar Metwally) daughter Katie, will no longer be a series regular but is still expected to appear as a guest star, per Deadline. We also know that Felicity Huffman’s Joan won’t be back for a third season, while Blair Underwood joins the cast to portray trauma and cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. Ben Grant.
Scott Wolf’s future on the show isn’t so cut-and-dry.
“Richard, we are leaving up in the air,” Doc executive producer/co-showrunner Hank Steinberg told Deadline. “We love Scott, we love the character, we will see if there’s a way to bring him back in a way that makes sense. We love him, and the audience loves him.”
