Tara and I pretty much have both a comedy and a drama show going on at the same time, all the time. Our dinner show is the comedy, and then we get into our after-dinner show, which is the drama. That’s when things get serious. We stop half-watching, we stop scrolling, and we lock in. Right now, there’s a lot of prestige TV flying at us every week, and not all of it actually sticks. These seven shows do.
Some are dark and messy, some are stressful as hell, and some are just flat-out strange in a way I can’t stop thinking about (that one lands at No. 1). Either way, these are the shows I’m chatting with Tara and my friends about because they’re just great TV.
