‘Mandalorian & Grogu:’ Lucasfilm to Sneak 25 Minutes at Imax Fan Event

Lucasfilm will celebrate May the 4th — the unofficial Star Wars holiday —by hosting a special fan event for the upcoming Star Wars: The Mandalorian and the Grogu in select Imax theaters across the globe.

Directed by Jon Favreau, the movie is a spin-of Disney+’s streaming series The Mandalorian, and brings Grogu, aka Baby Yoda, to the big screen for the first time.

Each fan event will be anchored by more than 25 minutes of new footage, while special giveaways will include an new poster; find a list of of participating Imax cinemas here.
