‘The Wonderfools’ Struggle With Their Superhero Abilities In Netflix Trailer

The Wonderfools are coming to Netflix on May 15, but they’re not exactly the heroes the world might be hoping to get.

Netflix has dropped a trailer for its comic superhero series out of Korea, which reunites director Yoo In-sik of with actor Park Eun-bin, who starred as the titular neurodivergent attorney.

Fair to say, this role is quite different, with Park starring alongside Cha Eun-woo, Choi Dae-hoon, Im Seong-jae, Kim Hae-sook, and Son Hyun-joo in a story set in 1999 about a motley crew of awkward, regular people who suddenly gain superpowers, but aren’t necessarily well suited to the responsibility that comes with.

Park stars as the charming and funny Eun Chae-ni, Haeseong City’s “biggest trainwreck,” who becomes entangled in the series’ unexpected events as she develops the power to teleport, zipping from one plac to another in a blur. Joining her are
