Peacock used to feel like the place you went to rewatch old NBC comfort shows, and to be fair, that is still a huge part of the appeal. Tara and I are literally watching “Parks and Rec” right now as our dinner show. But at this point, Peacock has fully shaken off the idea that it is just a home for classics.
More and more often, it is also where we’re finding our post-dinner drama show, because the platform has started pumping out original series that absolutely stand on their own. Between those older favorites and a much stronger lineup of originals, Peacock’s TV lineup is quietly one of the best around. And now that one new title has broken into the top 10, this feels like the perfect time to take a fresh look at the best shows streaming on Peacock.
