Two-time Oscar-nominated producer Stacey Sher, who’s behind more than two dozen critically acclaimed films such as Pulp Fiction, Django Unchained, The Hateful Eight and Erin Brockovich, has signed a first-look deal with MGM Television. Under the pact, Sher will develop and produce television series for the studio via her Shiny Penny Productions.
Sher’s body of work has collectively grossed nearly $2.7 billion at the global box office. In addition to the films mentioned above, Sher’s credits also include Out of Sight, Contagion, Garden State, Reality Bites, Get Shorty, Man on the Moon, Gattaca, and Respect. Her work in television includes executive producing the Emmy-nominated limited series Mrs. America, as well as series such as Into the Badlands, Sweet/Vicious, Reno 911, and Skylanders Academy.
