ABC Dumps ‘The Bachelorette’ After Taylor Frankie Paul’s Domestic Violence Video Surfaces

The most dramatic season in Bachelor franchise history ended before it even began.

Following a tumultuous news cycle and a truly tragic series of events, ABC officially decided not to air Taylor Frankie Paul’s controversial Bachelorette Season 22, which was set to premiere on Sunday, March 22.

“In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of ‘The Bachelorette’ at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,” a Disney Entertainment Television spokesperson said in a statement sent to DECIDER on Thursday.
