Another ‘Love Island’ Spinoff May Be in the Works at Peacock, Says ITV America Boss

A third Love Island spinoff might be in the works with ITV America and Peacock.

At Content London on Tuesday, ITV America CEO David George spoke about the hit reality series, whose format made it to CBS from the U.K. in 2018 with Love Island USA. George was a key player in the sale and highlighted the success of the existing spin-offs Love Island: All Stars and Love Island Games.

George was asked about Comcast’s plan to spin off its cable networks, splintering NBCUniversal’s linear networks into two groups. “What that separation told me is Peacock is the future because they kept Bravo, which supplies a ton of content into Peacock,” George told the audience. “And if you look at the branding, Peacock is meant to be fun and entertaining and that’s why it aligns with us so well… Actually, we are in conversations with them about a third spinoff to Love Island
