Apple TV has built a reputation for putting out a relatively low number of really high-quality shows, but not all of them end up getting the same level of buzz as hits like “Severance” or “Ted Lasso.” Sometimes the quieter series end up being just as good, they just don’t explode in the cultural conversation right away.
One of the best examples is “Bad Sisters.” It’s a wickedly funny thriller about five sisters who decide the world might actually be better off if one very specific man stopped breathing. Tara and I love this show, critics love it too, it won major awards, and yet a lot of people still haven’t seen it. If you’re looking for the best under-the-radar thriller series on Apple TV, this is absolutely the one I’d start with.
