The new Expanded Screen Fund will offer up to £150,000 for immersive works of fiction from what is described as experienced UK producers and creative leads.

Applications for the BFI Expanded Screen Fund are now open and close on June 3rd.

Eligible projects include screen-based immersive works of fiction that explore interactive storytelling using technologies such as VR, AR, XR, 360° media, or other extended reality media.

The fiction fund mirrors the BFI Doc Society’s production fund for non-fiction immersive projects, which opens later this month.
