‘Billie Eilish: Hit Me Hard And Soft’ To Premiere At Westwood Village Theatre Before Venue’s Fall Renovations

The historic 95-year-old Westwood Village Theatre is reopening — sort of — but in a big way.

The venue, which is operated by the American Cinematheque and the Jason Reitman led Village Directors Circle, will hold the premiere of the James Cameron-directed Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live in 3D) on May 6.

For the premiere, Dolby has already fully refurbished the Village Theatre’s projection booth, ensuring the one‑night‑only event is presented at the highest technical standard, including immersive 3D. The premiere event is one of a limited number occurring this summer to support the 12-month restoration and renovation which will begin this Fall.
