Apple TV+ unveiled the thrilling new trailer for its upcoming series Before, starring Billy Crystal in a role unlike anything we’ve seen from the comedy legend.
The psychological drama stars Crystal as Eli, a psychiatrist struggling with the recent death of his wife, played by award-winning actress Judith Light.
But a larger mystery seems to be afoot, suggesting there’s more to her death than meets the eye, especially when a troubled young boy ends up on his doorstep.
Noah “seems to have a haunting connection to Eli’s past,” the show’s official description reads. “As Eli attempts to help Noah, their mysterious bond deepens.”
The trailer shows Eli being haunted by the lingering presence of his wife as he struggles to understand Noah, whom his foster parent called “unnerving.”
