Driving is full of contradictions. It has changed, but not in an obvious way, even though there are smart cars and digital dashboards ready with a plethora of features to assist drivers. But at the end of the day, roads are an unpredictable space. During one of my recent work trips, I noticed numerous subtle moments of risk, such as a sudden traffic brake, a car unexpectedly drifting into my lane, or cutting across with no signals.
