Paramount on Thursday at CinemaCon unveiled the first footage from Heart of the Beast, its action-adventure film reuniting Brad Pitt with director David Ayer, on which we were first to report last March.

Heart of the Beast centers on a former Army Special Forces soldier (Pitt) and his retired combat dog who battle for survival after a plane crash deep in the unforgiving Alaskan wilderness.

The footage shown in Las Vegas sees Pitt’s soldier fending off bears, wolves and more on “one last mission” for survival alongside his loyal dog companion.

Paramount confirmed today that the film will release this fall, though no release date was disclosed.
