Dearest gentle readers, prepare your fans and fainting couches — the ton’s favorite scandal sheet just got a whole lot longer. Netflix has officially renewed Bridgerton for Seasons 5 and 6, confirming what we all suspected: this high-society drama isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
And yes, Season 4 is happening — but you’ll have to hang tight until 2026 to see it.
The series, based on Julia Quinn’s beloved book series, is the gift that keeps on giving, with Netflix now committed to adapting at least six of the eight Bridgerton sibling love stories. That means we’re officially halfway through the Shonda Rhimes-produced romance juggernaut, which has been serving corset-clad swoons and scandal since 2020.
The news dropped during Netflix’s upfront presentation, where advertisers (and a few lucky fans) got a sneak peek at Season 4, which stars Luke Thompson as Benedict Bridgerton and newcomer Yerin Ha as Sophie Baek.
