
Following Nicholas Brendon‘s death at age 54, Charisma Carpenter is paying tribute to her onscreen high school sweetheart.
The Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum, who played recovering mean girl and Xander’s girlfriend Cordelia Chase in the WB series, remembered her co-star as “warm and loving” after he died on Friday.
“I will miss the version of the man I once knew – someone who was so warm and loving,” she wrote on Instagram. “He was cuddly, funny, silly, self-deprecating, and supremely talented. I loved every scene we had together back in the day. He always kept me on my toes, never delivering a line the same way twice, forcing me to become a better actor by listening.
