Clayface took form at CinemaCon during Warner Bros.‘ presentation.
DC Studios boss Peter Safran took the stage in Las Vegas on Tuesday to reveal the first, action-packed footage from the film.
The chilling footage, which did not include any dialogue, opens with a seemingly disfigured man with bloodied bandages covering his face.
A montage of moments flashes back to show what led to this moment. The final scene features titular character, played by Tom Rhys Harries, using his hand to wipe his face clean and reveal a completely blank look.
Clayface is described as a horror film with a relatively trim budget of $40 million. It centers on the Batman villain known for the ability to shape-shift. Horror maestro Mike Flanagan penned the script, with See No Evil director James Watkins directing and Harries starring.
