Is there anything more classic than a killer clown in a horror movie? Yes, actually: A killer clown that hides in a cornfield! That’s the premise of Clown in a Cornfield, the new 2025 horror movie coming to digital platforms tomorrow.
Directed by Eli Craig, with a screenplay co-written by Craig and Carter Blanchard, Clown in a Cornfield is based on the best-selling 2020 horror novel of the same name by Adam Cesare. The story takes place in a small farm town in Missouri, where high school student Quinn Maybrook (played by Katie Douglas) is the new kid in town. Sure, there’s a rumor in her new school that someone dressed as the school mascot, a clown named Frendo, brutally murdered some teens back in the ’90s. But that was a long time ago! It’s totally fine now… right? Right?
