Cornerstone Boards ‘A Waiter In Paris’ Starring Leo Woodall & Clémence Poésy — Cannes Market

Cornerstone has acquired worldwide sales rights to A Waiter in Paris, starring Leo Woodall and Clémence Poésy

The film is the feature debut of Peter Hoar (The Last of Us, It’s a Sin). BBC Film and Curzon, Cineart, and Madman are on board as key financiers. The project has pre-sold to Curzon for the UK, Cineart for Benelux, and Madman in Australia. Cornerstone will launch sales at Cannes and will co-rep the US with WME Independent.

A Waiter in Paris is adapted by Ben Hopkins (Fuze) from the memoir of the same name by Edward Chisholm. The official synopsis reads: “L’Anglais – depressed, over-educated, and about to turn thirty – arrives in Paris and resolves to prove himself in the city of his dreams by joining the sharp-suited brotherhood of Parisian waiters.
