We’re getting the first look at Season 2 of Apple TV‘s sci-fi series Dark Matter in some just-released photos, which you can see above and below. The ten-episode season will premiere globally on Apple TV with the first episode on Friday, August 28, followed by one new episode every Friday through October 30.
Based on Blake Crouch’s bestselling book, Dark Matter is led by Joel Edgerton, alongside Jennifer Connelly, Alice Braga, Jimmi Simpson, Dayo Okeniyi, Oakes Fegley and Amanda Brugel.
Per the official logline, Dark Matter is a story about the road not taken. In season one, the series followed Jason Dessen (Edgerton), a physicist, professor and family man who — one night while walking home on the streets of Chicago — is abducted into an alternate version of his life.
