Later tonight, AMC’s beloved psychological thriller will return for a third season of intrigue. Many streamers have been watching since the show debuted in June 2022, while a whole new set of fans discovered the series when it was added to Netflix in August 2024.
We have two pieces of good news to report: The third season will consist of eight episodes (as opposed to the show’s previous six-episode seasons) and Dark Winds has already been renewed for Season 4! The fourth season, which will also feature eight episodes, will film in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and debut in 2026.
