Has anyone checked on Denise Richards? This morning, it was announced that Richards’ ex-boyfriend and longtime friend Patrick Muldoon, a fellow actor of Melrose Place and Days of Our Lives fame, suddenly died of a heart attack at 57.
Richards and Muldoon dated in the late 1990s after meeting on the set of Starship Troopers. While they broke up romantically in 2000, they remained close friends over the years, even continuing to call each other “schweet babe,” a nickname that started while filming Starship Troopers. Their long-lasting friendship was recently documented for a March 2025 episode of Denise Richards and Her Wild Things, during which Richards connected with Muldoon to play his love interest in the music video for his song, “Gray Again.”
