Documentary+ Acquires TIFF Hit ‘Still Single’ About “Sushi Superstar” Masaki Saito

EXCLUSIVE: Documentary+, the nonfiction content streaming platform available around the world, has acquired global rights to culinary-themed Still Single.

The documentary about “sushi superstar” Masaki Saito, owner of the namesake Michelin two-starred restaurant in Toronto, will premiere on Documentary+ on April 23 as a Documentary+ Original. Jamal Burger and Jukan Tateisi directed the feature, which debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, accompanied by a pop-up 60-foot outdoor omakase sushi bar on King Street, the festival’s main drag.
