Euphoria made a triumphant return to HBO on Sunday.
The Season 3 premiere drew 8.5M U.S. viewers in three days across linear and streaming, outperforming the Season 2 premiere by 44%, per the network.
The episode was expected to draw a large audience given the buzz surrounding the two trailers released pre-premiere. Just ahead of the premiere, Deadline exclusively reported that the second trailer for Season 3 amassed 157M views in two days. It broke a record that the previous Euphoria Season 3 trailer already held, besting its predecessor by 57%.
Per HBO, Euphoria has been the top title on platform globally since the Season 3 debut night.
