Can someone let the overlords at Netflix know it’s spooky season? Because their October ’24 slate, while impressive, is severely lacking in movies that horrify, terrify, or are just plain disturbing. And no, CoComelon does not count.
Even though there aren’t that many horror pictures this month, Netflix has slotted the usual array of must-see original movies and TV shows. Among the most noteworthy are the sequel to the hit film The Platform, season 2 of Heartstopper, and the long-awaited second season of The Diplomat starring Keri Russell and Allison Janney.
