‘Frasier’ Revival Canceled At Paramount+ After Two Seasons

After airing for two seasons on Paramount+, the Frasier revival will not continue on the platform, as reported by Variety. CBS Studios plans to shop the series, which premiered in October 2023, to other networks and streaming services.

Led by and executive produced by Kelsey Grammer, the revival revisits the beloved sitcom Frasier, itself a spinoff of Cheers. The original show ran for 11 seasons, from 1993 to 2004, and earned a remarkable 37 Primetime Emmy Awards. While the revival didn’t win any awards during its first season, it did secure three nominations.

Despite CBS Studios producing the show, it’s unlikely the revival will move to CBS. The network already boasts a robust comedy lineup, including The Neighborhood, Poppa’s House, George & Mandy’s First Marriage, Ghosts, and a newly announced spinoff of The Neighborhood, which is currently in development.
