He’s more used to giving the orders than undertaking missions, but Boris Johnson is headed to the heart of the Ukraine-Russia War.
Paramount‘s UK network 5 has ordered Boris Johnson: Into the Kill Zone (working title), a feature-length doc from frequent co-producers Soho Studios and Two Rivers Media.
The doc will see the divisive former Prime Minister traveling into war-torn Ukraine, past the capital Kyiv on a 72-hour unofficial and secret assignment behind the frontline of the country’s war with Russia.
After quietly entering the country, Johnson goes to the ‘kill zone’ near Zaporizhzhia, where drones, artillery and warfare replace the diplomacy and political rhetoric the former journalist and ex-Conservative Party leader is used to doing. He will embed with Ukrainian soldiers and visit shattered villages, a frontline chapel, secret drone bases and a makeshift bomb factory.
