April brought a conclusion to The White Lotus season 3’s vacation on Max. But new seasons of Nathan Fielder’s The Rehearsal, the postapocalyptic drama The Last of Us, and Hacks, the most recent Emmy winner for best comedy, gave viewers multiple reasons to stay checked in to the streaming service.
Hacks premiered its fourth season on April 10, picking up where season 3 left off with comedy writer Ava, played by Hannah Einbinder, and legendary comedian Deborah, played by Jean Smart, still at odds. According to a logline, the tense new season follows them as they “endeavor to get their late night show off the ground and make history doing it.”
