Hacks star Jean Smart may have one “too many Emmys,” according to late night host Jimmy Kimmel.
Smart stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday (April 8) night ahead of the Hacks Season 5 premiere to talk about the critically acclaimed HBO show, which has netted 12 Emmy Awards through its four-season run. Kimmel joked that the actress seems to “have a whole bunch more awards” every time she stops by the show.
“I have seven, but I lost one,” Smart confessed.
Kimmel was stunned. “When you say you lost one, you mean you actually lost it? You mean you misplaced it?” he asked.
“I don’t know where it is,” Smart confirmed.
“That means you have too many Emmys!” Kimmel responded with a laugh. “How do you lose an Emmy? They’re pointy and they’re big.”
