The season five premiere of Dallas Jenkins’ hit Christian historical drama is coming to Prime Video on Sunday, June 15. Officially titled The Chosen: Last Supper, the new eight-episode season will be released on the streamer in three parts (see full release schedule below).
Season one of the series depicting the life of Jesus, which debuted in 2019, marked the largest-ever crowdfunding campaign in TV show history. After securing a deal with Amazon MGM Studios, announced in February 2025, The Chosen season five will stream exclusively on Prime Video for 90 days. Seasons one through four are currently streaming on Prime.
