The second day of the 2026 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament will get underway in Tampa on Friday, March 20 when the No. 5 Texas Tech Red Raiders take on the No. 12 Akron Zips. Texas Tech enters the tournament with a 22-10 overall record coming out of the Big 12 while Akron won the MAC Tournament to earn its automatic bid, following a 29-5 campaign. The game is set to tip at 12:40 p.m. ET and will air on truTV.
