The No. 2 Connecticut Huskies will open their 2026 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament run on Friday, March 20 against the No. 15 Furman Paladins. UConn enters the Big Dance coming off a season in which it went 29-5 and finished second in the Big East. Furman was a middle-of-the-pack Southern Conference team at 22-12, but was able to win the conference tournament to secure its bid to March Madness. Now, the teams will tip off at 10 p.m. ET in a game airing on TBS.
