The 24-25 NBA season begins with a must-see doubleheader as the Boston Celtics host the new-look New York Knicks, and the Minnesota Timberwolves travel to Los Angeles to battle LeBron James and the Lakers on TNT and Max!
Tonight’s doubleheader features four of the most interesting teams of the season. After a dominating 23-24 season, the Celtics are looking to become the first team to repeat since the 2018 Golden State Warriors, while the star-studded Knicks added Karl-Anthony Towns and Mikal Bridges in hopes of breaking through in the Eastern Conference. Out West, LeBron and Bronny James will likely become the first father/son duo to play together in an NBA regular season game. Meanwhile, the Timberwolves and assurgent superstar Anthony Edwards are coming off a trip to the Western Conference Finals.
