In the opening round, Kansas held on against No. 13 California Baptist, 68-60, while St. John’s dispatched No. 12 Northern Iowa, 79-53. Now KU and the Red Storm will meet at 5:15 p.m. ET on CBS to advance to the tournament’s second weekend.
