On Friday, March 20, 2026 at 9:25 PM EDT, the No. 1 Florida Gators will open their 2026 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament run by taking on the No. 16 Prairie View A&M Panthers. Prairie View A&M was a surprise SWAC Conference Tournament champion after finishing in the bottom half of the league in the regular season. However, at 19-17, the Panthers earned the SWAC automatic bid and have to face off against one of the best teams in the country. Florida enters the Big Dance at 26-7, having lost in the SEC semifinals to Vanderbilt. Both teams will be looking to provie something when they face off at 9:25 p.m. ET in a game airing on TNT.
