Eight months after Nymphia Wind was crowned America’s next Drag Superstar in the finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 16, the search is back on. Drag Race returns for Season 17 tonight!
14 new queens from all over the United States will enter the werk room to vie for the title, the crown, and the cash prize.
This season of RuPaul’s Drag Race will keep last season’s 90-minute episode format, and also returning from Season 16 is the season-opening talent show and the Rate-A-Queen twist where each queen had to rank all of their fellow queens based on their talent show performances.
Another fun twist that Season 17 is introducing is the Badonka Dunk Tank, giving queens the opportunity to extend their time in the competition and send Michelle Visage into a dunk tank in the process.
