‘I’m Still Here’ Comes to Digital, But When Will the Oscar-Winning ‘I’m Still Here’ Movie Be Streaming on Netflix?

Over one week after I’m Still Here took home the Academy Award for Best International Film at the 2025 Oscars, Americans will finally be able to watch this critically-acclaimed Brazilian drama at home. That’s right, I’m Still Here is finally coming to digital platforms in the U.S.!

Directed by Walter Salles, with a screenplay written by Murilo Hauser and Heitor Lorega, I’m Still Here depicts the true story of Eunice Pavia, a Brazilian lawyer and activist whose husband, Rubens Paiva, was disappeared after defying the Brazilian military dictatorship in the 1960s. The film was adapted from Marcelo Rubens Paiva’s 2015 memoir, which Paiva wrote about his mother.
