Opening in theaters this weekend, Homestead was directed by Ben Smallbone, with a screenplay by Phillip Abraham, Leah Bateman and Jason Ross. It’s adapted from the book Black Autumn, by Jeff Kirkham and Jason Ross, and tells the story of a family who feels to “The Homestead,” after a nuclear bomb ushers in a new age of chaos.
