Attention Game of Thrones fans: There’s a new George R.R. Martin adaptation coming to the big screen, and it’s called In the Lost Lands, opening in theaters this weekend.
Based on Martin’s 1983 short story of the same name, In the Lost Lands is an epic fantasy tale of a werewolf named Gary Alys (played by Milla Jovovich) and a fearsome hunter named Boyce (played by Dave Bautista), who are sent on a quest to retrieve a valuable artifact. Of course, along the way, they are faced with dark, dangerous enemies. You know how those magical quests tend to go!
Also starring Arly Jover, Amara Okereke, and Fraser James, In the Lost Lands was adapted by screenwriter Constantin Werner, and directed by Paul W. S. Anderson (best known for his Resident Evil franchise, and not to be confused with filmaker Paul Thomas Anderson.)
