If in the mood for pure, violent action this weekend, go ahead and see the new 2025 Locked movie in theaters.
This American remake of the 2019 Argentinian film, 4×4, stars Bill Skarsgard as a young, carefree carjacker who, one day, steals from the wrong person. Two-time Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins stars as a sociopathic car owner who decides to lock Skarsgard in his car, in an effort to teach him a valuable life lesson. Actions have consequences, and sometimes those consequences are served to you by a deranged Anthony Hopkins.
Also starring Ashley Cartwright, Michael Eklund, and Navid Charkhi, Locked was directed by David Yarovesky and written by Michael Arlen Ross. The film was produced by Sam Raimi through his Raimi Productions company, so you know the action is going to be good.
