Every holiday can be Halloween if you just try hard enough and believe in yourself. That seems to be the motto of Heart Eyes, a new horror slasher movie about a Valentine’s Day killer. Hey, it’s worked for Thanksgiving and Christmas! Why not Valentine’s Day?
Directed by Josh Ruben (known for his 2021 horror comedy Werewolves Within), with a script by Phillip Murphy, Happy Death Day‘s Christopher Landon (who also produces), and Michael Kennedy, Heart Eyes is a straight-forward slasher about a serial killer who dons a heart eyes masks and brutally murders couples on Valentine’s Day. We know it sucks to be single on February 14, but that feels like an overeaction!
