My Wife, My Abuser: The Secret Footage is a disturbing documentary about a man named Richard Spencer who endured decades of abuse while married to wife Sheree.
While married to Sheree for 20 years, Richard was the subject of alleged physical and emotional abuse, including spitting and punching him and leaving bruises on his body. The shocking footage was captured on nanny cams in the couple’s home, which they shared with three daughters.
Sheree also allegedly financially abused Richard, and, per RadioTimes, threatened to lie to the police about him if he tried to come forward about the abuse he was enduring.
The feature-length documentary was produced for Channel 5 in the United Kingdom and originally aired in March, but will it be available for viewers in the United States?
