While adults are watching Project Hail Mary this weekend, the kids need some entertainment, too. Luckily, the new animated kids movie The Pout-Pout Fish, is also opening in movie theaters this weekend.
Based on the popular, best-selling children’s book children’s book by Deborah Diesen, The Pout-Pout Fish movie was directed by Ricard Cussó and Rio Harrington and written by Elise Allen, Elie Choufany, and Dominic Morris. Nick Offerman stars as the voice of the grumpy, introverted Mr. Fish, while Nina Oyama voices the annoyingly peppy and energetic sea dragon named Pip. This odd couple is forced to team up on a mission to track down a legendary fish who can grant their wish, in order to save their home.
