Ryan Gosling is going to space, again, in his new blockbuster sci-fi flick, Project Hail Mary, which opens in theaters everywhere this weekend.
Project Hail Mary is the highly-anticipated adaptation of Andy Weir’s popular 2021 sci-fi novel of the same name. The screenplay was adapted by Buffy veteran Drew Goddard, and directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (The Lego Movie, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse). Gosling, who also produced the film, stars as Dr. Ryland Grace, an astronaut who is sent into space to save humanity. The only problem? He can’t remember any of that. He wakes up on a spaceship, alone, with no memory of how he got there, where he’s going, or what he’s supposed to be doing.
