Get ready to say “Wa-hoo!” because the new Mario movie, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, is opening in movie theaters all across the galaxy this week.
Directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic and written by Matthew Fogel, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is a sequel to the record-breaking 2023 film, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, as well as an adaptation of the based on the 2007 Nintendo video game Super Mario Galaxy and its 2010 sequel. Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, and Jack Black will all reprise their roles from the first film, as the voices of Mario, Peach, Luigi, and Bowser, respectively.
