Euphoria returned to HBO with an expectedly controversial new season that has left viewers wanting more.
This new season if Euphoria picks up several years after the characters of the hit show graduated from high school, leading messy, adult lives of their own. This season, Zendaya reprises her role as Rue, who gets roped into becoming a drug mule for the monotone but terrifying Laurie (Martha Kelly). Meanwhile, Nate (Jacob Elordi) and Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) are engaged, with Nate taking over his father’s business while Cassie tries to make it as a content creator, and Maddie and Lexi are working in the entertainment industry. Though they’re all grown up now, they’re still childhood friends with the same toxic bonds.
