
Jacob Elordi is keeping booked and busy, with his latest project on display during Disney’s CinemaCon presentation on Thursday.
The thriller tells the story of Hig (played by Elordi), a young pilot who, together with a military survivalist, Bangley (Josh Brolin), has carved out an efficient but isolated homestead in a brutal post-apocalyptic world. But that changes when a mysterious radio transmission spurs Hig to venture into the unknown in search of the hope and humanity he still believes exists.
Ridley Scott is in the director’s chair, with a theatrical release date set for Aug. 28. Based on Peter Heller’s bestseller, the film also stars Margaret Qualley, Guy Pearce, Benedict Wong and Allison Janney. The film is written by Mark L. Smith and produced by Scott, Michael Pruss and Cliff Roberts.
