What I Like About You star Jennie Garth opened up about her experience working with Dan Schneider on The WB sitcom after the disgraced television producer was accused of sexual harassment.
During a recent appearance on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, Garth admitted she got “bad vibes” from Schneider after she joined the cast of the show. Garth was set to star opposite child star Amanda Bynes, who was a teenager when they filmed the pilot for the series.
“I got called in by Will Calhoun, who was one of the head executives of Friends, and he was doing a new show with Amanda Bynes,” Garth said. “[Schneider] was also executive producing it. He was kind of the Amanda side of it; she had worked with him a lot on The Amanda Show and all the things. So, he had hooked his wagon onto her.”
