EXCLUSIVE: Jorge Dorantes, the co-creator, executive producer and co-showrunner of the upcoming Netflix series The Gringo Hunters, has signed with Vision Entertainment for management.
Expected to begin streaming later this year, The Gringo Hunters delves into the operations of the International Liaison Unit, a real-life elite Mexican police unit known for apprehending American fugitives who flee to Mexico. Based on an article by Kevin Sieff in The Washington Post, the show is also exec produced by Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, and Kristen Zolner for Imagine Entertainment and Stacy Perskie for Redrum.
Dorantes previously co-created The Chosen One for Netflix, based on Mark Millar’s hit comic book series American Jesus. Starring Diana Agron, the series made the Netflix Top 10 in 44 countries.
