Josh Safran Developing Sports Series ‘Glory Days’ At Netflix

EXCLUSIVE: Netflix is in early development on the scripted sports series Glory Days from Josh Safran (Gossip Girl, Quantico) and Skydance Sports. Safran will serve as writer, showrunner, and executive producer of the project should it go to series. Nancy Cotton will also EP.

In Glory Days, every summer, the top college baseball players are recruited to Cape Cod to try out for talent scouts from around the world for a shot at the majors. The series follows the coaches, players, and local townspeople as their futures, families, secrets, and sex lives collide during the summer of their lives. Glory Days is described as The OC meets Bull Durham.
